Ynai Orbit
Terms of Use
Last updated 29 July 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Ynai for your use of Ynai Orbit. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you are using Ynai Orbit for a firm, you confirm you may bind that firm.
What Orbit is
Ynai Orbit is a workspace and agent for Kenyan legal work. You open a matter folder, and the agent reads your files to research, draft, review, and answer, in the app and in Microsoft Word. It is a tool that assists your work. It does not replace your judgement.
Your account
Give accurate details when you sign up and keep your login private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
Not legal advice
What Orbit produces is a draft for a qualified advocate to check, not legal advice and not a substitute for professional judgement. You remain responsible for anything you rely on, sign, or file. Read every output, verify every authority, and confirm it is correct and current before you use it. Ynai is not liable for the consequences of unreviewed output.
Acceptable use
Use Ynai Orbit lawfully and for genuine legal work. Do not use it to break the law, to infringe someone's rights, to upload material you have no right to, or to attack, overload, or reverse engineer the service. Do not resell access without our agreement.
Your content
Your documents and the work you produce remain yours. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and process that content so we can run the service for you, and nothing more. We claim no ownership of your files or your drafts.
Models and third parties
Orbit runs on AI models from third-party providers. When you pick a model, your request is processed by that provider. On our default models this is on our key; when you bring your own key, your use is also subject to that provider's terms. Model output can be wrong, which is why the review duty above applies to everything.
Credits, plans, and payment
- Usage on our keys is paid for in credits. A plan or a top-up adds credits to your account. Your own-key usage runs on a flat subscription instead.
- The free monthly credits do not roll over. Purchased credits remain until used.
- Prices are shown before you pay. Payment is taken through our processor by card or M-Pesa.
- Credits are for use of the service and are not redeemable for cash. Except where the law requires a refund, purchases are final. You can cancel a subscription at any time, and it stops at the end of the paid period.
Availability
We work to keep Orbit available and accurate, but we provide it on an "as is" basis and cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice of a material change where we can.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Ynai is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or lost data, or for loss arising from output you used without the review these terms require. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Kenyan law. Where we are found liable, our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Orbit and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the law. On closure, your right to use the service ends and we handle your data as set out in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for a significant change, tell you in the app. If you keep using Orbit after a change, you accept the updated terms.
